I love how in photography you can completely change the look of an image just by changing the point of focus...
The image above shows the detail of the highly elaborate decoration on display at the Princes Square shopping centre in Glasgow. I love how you can, as a photographer, draw the viewer to exactly what you want them to see. By the position you put the point of focus in the frame, leading lines or in this case by blurring everything else.
However, what I find interesting about this shopping centre is the quirky placement of the escalators, how they take people in different directions, and the huge architectural features that are everywhere... the perfect backdrop.
I know which image I prefer, or perhaps a better way of saying this is the image I am more drawn to. There is no right or wrong answer your opinion will always be the right one for you, as it is yours.
